Richard Webb

Job Title

National Clinical Lead for Children and Young People for St John Ambulance in England

Organisation

St John Ambulance

Richard is a final year specialist trainee in paediatrics and paediatric intensive care medicine in Yorkshire. He has particular interests in paediatric emergency medicine, major trauma, and pre-hospital care, and is passionate about enhancing the care provided to children before they reach the emergency department.

Richard is the National Clinical Lead for Children and Young People for St John Ambulance in England, for whom he has been a volunteer for over two decades, as an emergency care clinician, and as a previous emergency ambulance crew member providing NHS emergency ambulance support and ambulance services at large, high-risk events.

As somebody who has used, and continues to use JRCALC guidelines, he feels hugely honoured to have been invited to join the JRCALC committee, and is looking forward to working alongside the rest of the team in supporting clinicians to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
