Richard is the Executive Medical Director for West Midlands Ambulance Service. Over the last 30 years he has been a prehospital responder and since 2011 has also been a Strategic Medical Advisor.
As a Consultant Thoracic surgeon his main interest is chest trauma and additionally works with the Major Trauma Service at University Hospitals Birmingham.
