Julia is a Professor of Paramedic Science at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. She holds a clinical academic position in collaboration with the South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, as the Head of Research.
With extensive experience in healthcare research, she is committed to enhancing the research capacity and capability within the paramedic profession. As the Head of Research for the College of Paramedics (UK), she actively promotes the valuable contributions paramedics can make to collaborative healthcare research, policies, and practices.
She is a member of the NIHR Incubator for Emergency Care and the National Ambulance Research Steering Group (NARSG).
